Hyunjun Yang linked with Championship promotion hopefuls
Celtic already have history with Norwich City in this transfer window after the Canaries discovered a hidden release clause in Mathias Kvistgaarden’s contract to sign him from Brondby for just under £7m.
They haven’t stopped there after Anthony Joseph reported that Norwich are also looking at Hyunjun Yang.
The South Korean has also been watched by Legia Warsaw and hinted that he could be open to a move elsewhere.
Brendan Rodgers could be tempted to sell but, with a lack of depth out wide, a good offer will be needed.
Marco Tilio could be heading back to Melbourne City
Marco Tilio is a name that will probably get you a lot of points on a pub quiz question in a few years’ time.
Tilio was the A-League’s most expensive sale of all time when he joined the Bhoys but has had just 28 minutes of action across two appearances for the club.
Two loan spells back at his former club Melbourne City have seen him rediscover some form and Tilio is currently in pre-season training with Celtic, but a return to Australia can’t be ruled out.
Melbourne City are looking at another deal for Tilio and may even try to bring him back permanently if an agreement can be reached.
Celtic handed Michel-Ange Balikwisha warning
It feels like Celtic’s attempts to sign Michel-Ange Balikwisha have been going on forever yet we’re still no closer to seeing him in the green and white.
Balikwisha has even missed training with Royal Antwerp as he aims to secure a move away.
The 24-year-old is in the last year of his contract but Marc Overmars has warned Celtic that he won’t entertain silly offers – despite admitting that some stars could be moved on for a cut-price fee.
Rodgers has confirmed more signings are on the way, but a winger needs to be a priority.
