Kyogo Furuhashi’s Birmingham City earnings amid possible Celtic return

It seems to be the season of fairytale returns and Kyogo Furuhashi could be the latest to come back to Glasgow.

Kyogo Furuhashi has been linked with a return to Celtic after struggling to find his feet at Birmingham City while the Hoops are also severely lacking in the goals department.

Wages could be a stumbling block and Birmingham reportedly made Kyogo their highest-paid player.

On top of that he cost close to £10m, which would be a hefty fee to stump up for someone who isn’t going to be a long-term solution.

Jocelin Ta Bi closing in on Celtic move

Jocelin Ta Bi is set to become Celtic’s second signing of the window after Julian Araujo.

Trabzonspor were one of the clubs fighting the Bhoys for his signature, but it seems that he wants to make the switch to Scotland instead.

Ta Bi, 20, has been catching the eye in Israel and is on the verge of joining for £2m to bolster the right wing options.

Nacho Laquintana deal on the table

Our final transfer story of the day looks at another winger in Nacho Laquintana.

The Uruguay international enjoyed a decent season on loan with Santos in Brazil after recovering from a serious injury.

Is this the sort of player Celtic should be targeting?

He is another Celtic seem keen to bring in as an attacking option, and the Hoops have reportedly said they want a loan-to-buy transfer for Laquintana so that he can come in and make an instant impact.
