Michel-Ange Balikwisha set for Celtic medical

Michel-Ange Balikwisha is on his way to Celtic and is one step away from being confirmed as the latest addition.

Balikwisha said goodbye to Royal Antwerp ahead of his move, with reports confirming that the 24-year-old will head to Glasgow for his medical.

The winger has been learning a new position but is expected to provide some much-needed competition in the wide areas for Brendan Rodgers to select from.

Louis Munteanu refuses to play for Cluj again

Louis Munteanu has already refused to play for Cluj once and now has repeated the trick over the weekend.

Cluj stated that Munteanu refused to play in their 2-1 defeat as a number of clubs register their interest in the 23-year-old.

Celtic had a £6.9m bid for Munteanu rejected earlier this year and it seems that the only way this saga ends is if the forward is allowed to leave.

Calvin Stengs opens the door to Celtic move

It’s been a frustrating start to the season for Calvin Stengs after an injury-ravaged campaign derailed his 2024/25 season.

The winger is yet to make a single appearance under Robin van Persie and the Feyenoord winger has vowed to prove others wrong while hinting that his future could lie away from De Kuip.

Stengs, rubbishing the injury claims, said: “Last season I was injured a bit more, but people forget that I played football for seven years straight.

“Last season was actually the only time I was sidelined three times. That’s often blown out of proportion.

“It’s frustrating for me that it’s happening, but I just want to look forward and prove myself.”
