David Strelec finally has a new club after leaving Slovan Bratislava.
Strelec’s father admitted he was going to leave this summer and name-checked Celtic as one of the sides he could go to.
The Slovakia international admitted he was disappointed to not leave Slovan in January but had continued to get his head down and carry on playing for the Slovakian side.
Celtic’s interest has cooled of late and after focusing on different targets, Strelec has found a new club.

David Strelec reveals why he chose Middlesbrough over Celtic
Championship club Middlesbrough confirmed the arrival of Strelec on deadline day.
Boro were the club who have constantly rivalled Celtic for the 24-year-old’s signature and have got their man on a five-year contract.
In his first interview with his new side, Strelec claimed that he only ever wanted to join Middlesbrough.
He told the Boro club website: “I’m delighted to be here.
“There was a lot of speculation over the last nine months and I wanted to come here. I’m very happy that I’m here now and I can finally play for Boro.
“I’ve heard that the fans are amazing and I can’t wait to play in front of them.”
Celtic have other transfer targets in mind
Fans can’t be too heartbroken to miss out on the talisman as it seems like Brendan Rodgers had other ideas in mind.
Kasper Dolberg is the Hoops’ number one target and work is ongoing to bring him to Glasgow.
Sekou Mara is another option as a potential loan, but one thing that is certain is that Celtic won’t be ending the window quietly.
