Greg Taylor will almost certainly leave Celtic at the end of the season.
Brendan Rodgers appeared resigned to losing Taylor after explaining how the left-back looks likely to depart the club on expiry of his current deal.
Dinamo are willing to pull out all the stops to land the defender and have been interested since January but Rangers were told to move for Taylor by Kris Boyd in what everyone thought was a bad April Fool’s joke.
Now, though, Michael Stewart has also chimed in and explained how the Ibrox club across the city could do a lot worse than at least ask the question of the 27-year-old Scotland cap.

Michael Stewart says Rangers should try to sign Celtic’s Greg Taylor
And he says Taylor is a superior player to the two left-sided defensive options the Light Blues have in the form of Jefte and Ridvan Yilmaz.
Stewart told the Premier Sports Scottish Football Social Club: “I actually floated this idea two or three weeks ago. From a Rangers perspective, yeah I would.
“I don’t know what Greg Taylor will be thinking, but from Rangers perspective, it’s a free transfer and he is in the Scotland squad so it’s another Scottish player which is a huge asset.
“I don’t know whether Greg Taylor would be interested but he’s a quality player. But for me he’s better than Jefte and he’s better than (Ridvan) Yilmaz. So I would do it.”
Other clubs are interested in Greg Taylor
Taylor has been excellent at times for the Hoops across his six-year stint so far but it appears his time is up despite Rodgers hoping to sign him to an extension.
Now a Dad with a young family, Taylor quite rightly must think about his long-term future and making money while he still can beyond what he can earn in Glasgow.

Clubs down south will rival Dinamo who hope to bring the full-back to Croatia and Hull City in the EFL Championship were linked previously with his services.
It would be a shame to lose Taylor even despite Kieran Tierney coming back to Celtic to play every week as he was previously a player of the year candidate under Ange Postecoglou when he played the inverted role to a tee.
But fans shouldn’t begrudge him of a move if it will earn him more cash for his family.
