Nicolas Kuhn has been sublime for Celtic this season.
There had been fears when playmaker and one of the top Hoops providers, Matt O’Riley, left in the summer that the club would be lacking in creativity.
Kuhn has stepped forward since and his 16 goals and 12 assists in all competitions this term have proven there needn’t have been any worries with the Germany international hopeful stepping up to the plate.
Of course Daizen Maeda has also blasted through his own record goals tally in Glasgow this year but it is Kuhn who has been the main man with top performances also in the Champions League and RB Leipzig in particular his European coming out party.
Kuhn has been linked with Brentford and other clubs around the continent with Fulham also being credited with an interest.

Newcastle United have scouted Celtic’s Nicolas Kuhn
Now, though, it has emerged that Newcastle United are seemingly keeping tabs on the playmaker.
The Chronicle claims the Magpies have sent scouts to watch the 25-year-old in action and have been impressed with what they have seen from the German.
It comes amid claims that Celts are still hopeful of tying down Kuhn on a contract extension.
That would be in a bid to prevent losing their talisman as, despite the fact that he is dealt in until at least 2029, he remains outside of the major earners at Parkhead.
Kuhn’s stance on a January Celtic transfer exit
Kuhn would have to be another Celtic man who would go for close to £30million if and when they decide to cash-in on their star as he has developed into a key player.
We told you all the way back in November how Kuhn’s agent emphatically shut down any January exit chat with a statement insisting he is happy in Glasgow and is going nowhere.
Kuhn has been described as the best in the country for his dazzling performances in green and white since the beginning of the 2024/5 campaign.
