The summer transfer window is almost here for Celtic with just one more game to go before that.
Of course, that is the Scottish Cup final this afternoon against Aberdeen as Brendan Rodgers looks to clinch his third domestic Treble as Hoops boss.
Then, the real focus can go into potential incomings and outgoings at Parkhead. Reo Hatate has been linked with Udinese, while Leeds United and Newcastle United are said to like Nicolas Kuhn.
Daizen Maeda will surely attract attention too, but the big update this Saturday morning actually concerns a number of Celtic fringe players.

Celtic ‘open to offers’ for Palma, Welsh, Lagerbielke, Kwon & Tilio
Celtic will need to shift a significant amount of deadwood this summer, and that has now been confirmed by Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph.
As part of a broad-ranging Celtic update, Joseph claims that the Bhoys will make five of their current players available for transfer:
- Luis Palma
- Gustaf Lagerbielke
- Stephen Welsh
- Kwon Hyeok-kyu
- Marco Tilio
Word for word, Joseph wrote: “In terms of outgoings, it’s understood the club will be open to offers for Luis Palma, Gustaf Lagerbielke, Stephen Welsh, Hyeok-kyu Kwon and Marco Tilio.”
Current status of five unwanted Celtic players
Luis Palma will return to Celtic soon after a loan spell with Olympiacos. The Greek giants won their top-flight crown at a canter with the Honduran winger playing 12 games in all competitions.
Palma only scored one goal and provided one assist, and that won’t do much to convince Brendan Rodgers to keep the 25-year-old.
Gustaf Lagerbielke has been on loan at FC Twente, who are set to finish 6th in the Eredivisie barring a huge goal swing on the final day of the season this Sunday.
The Swedish defender has been a success for the club, playing 31 games and providing five goal contributions in all.
Stephen Welsh’s KV Mechelen finished the regular Belgian Pro League season in mid-table and will round off their campaign this weekend against Dender.
The 25-year-old has featured 16 times for his loan club and has started the last nine games, but he won’t be needed by Celtic next season, it appears.
Kwon was at Hibs on loan and Marco Tilio has enjoyed his time back at Melbourne City in Australia – neither are long-term options for the Bhoys.
