The summer transfer window will be around before we know it, and Celtic could look at players out of contract at the end of this season that will be available on a free.
We don’t know who will be in charge, but what we do know is that they are going to have one big rebuild job on their hands.
Four players are out of contract at Celtic, and big names like Daizen Maeda will likely leave too. So, to help the recruitment team out, 67 Hail Hail have identified three out of contract stars that could be a viable option to come to Parkhead.

You have been given £10m to sign one player for Celtic in the summer transfer window…
Which player are you spending that money on?
Eric Martel – Koln
All season long, Celtic have looked too one-dimensional in midfield and are crying out for a more defensive-minded player.
Neil Lennon thinks the Hoops rely on Callum McGregor too much and Eric Martel could be the perfect person to take that burden off his shoulders.
Martel is 23 but has played regularly for Koln this season, lasting the full 90 minutes in most of those. He can also fill in at centre-back when required, but he would be a great long-term solution for McGregor, and partner next to him in the short-term.
Ozan Kabak – Hoffenheim
Defenders are going to have to be near the top of the shopping list, especially centre-backs.
Cameron Carter-Vickers may still be on the move despite his long-term injury and the current options of Auston Trusty and Liam Scales are at a point where upgrades need to take place.

Ozan Kabak has history of playing in big five leagues with Liverpool, and currently Hoffenheim. He is also right-footed, a trait that many of the current options lack. Having a natural right-footer in that centre-back position would make life easier and strengthen the squad depth.
At 25, he is also coming into his prime and could form the base of a defence that is here to stay for a while.
Afimico Pululu – Jagiellonia Bialystok
Goals have been a huge problem this season for the Hoops.
Benjamin Nygren is overperforming his xG, but nobody else is in even into double figures for the season.
Afimico Pululu meanwhile has been scoring for fun in Poland with Jagiellonia Bialystok, helping to transform them from midtable strugglers into regular title challengers.
The 2026 transfer window is still months away, but what is the number one position Celtic need to improve this summer?📝
Tell us why you picked that position
The 26-year-old also has hit double figures in each of his three seasons and is on course to break the 20-goal mark in all competitions for a second year running.
Numbers like that are exactly what the Bhoys need and a proven goalscorer should be a priority.
