Callum Osmand has been thrust straight into the limelight at Celtic.

The 19-year-old has mainly played for younger age groups at Fulham and for Wales, but now he is getting a taste of the big time and some serious level of pressure.

Despite Osmand’s lack of experience at the top, Celtic still brought him in during the 2025 summer transfer window, and he is already taking to life in Glasgow with a huge smile on his face.

There are some big characters in the dressing room, not just for helping Celtic win titles, but the general camaraderie on a daily basis.

Callum Osmand on Anthony Ralston and Auston Trusty in the Celtic dressing room

Anthony Ralston is a back-up player at Celtic, whilst Auston Trusty has been in and out of the XI following his move to the club last summer.

Those two have already made their mark on Osmand because he has picked them as the funniest in the dressing room so far.

Osmand told Celtic TV that Ralston and Trusty are ‘always going at it’, as he stated that they have got a ‘nice little partnership going.’

“It’s got to be Tony (Ralston) and Auston (Trusty),” responded Osmand on his funniest teammate.

“They have got a nice little partnership going. It makes me laugh, because in the changing room, they are always going at it.”

Osmand reveals ‘dream’ first goal

It’s going to be interesting to see how Rodgers uses Osmand ahead of the new season, because of his inexperience, but everyone remembers Moussa Dembele’s spell at Celtic, and where he came from.

But hopefully, this proves to be a very successful transfer in the long run, because these are the type of deals the club specialises in.

Either way, the young man himself has already dreamt and etched a picture of how he will score his first goal for Celtic.

“I would love to score Celtic Park, a little slide in from one of the centre midfielders,” said Osmand. “Then wrap across and arms out.”
