Celtic have been hit with yet another fine from UEFA this season.
The European football governing body has punished Celtic multiple times this campaign already and they have now confirmed another bill must be paid.
In their monthly report published this morning, UEFA has slapped the Hoops with a fine of €16,000 which equates to around £13,200.
They found that Celtic were guilty of “Blocking of public passageways, Art. 38 UEFA Safety and Security Regulations”. With that comes the fine which will hit the club’s pockets again.
Young Boys were also punished with a fine from the same evening in Glasgow – which Celtic won 1-0 – for lighting pyrotechnics. They will cough up €20,250 or £16,700.

Celtic were fined by UEFA for ‘blocking passageways’
It is certainly not the first time this term that the Scottish champions have been cited, as we have reported on 67 Hail Hail.
Celtic were fined for pyro against Borussia Dortmund from which they also faced a potential away fan stadium ban with a suspended sentence looming.
That had the club anxiously awaiting the outcome of another issue when they were dragged in front of UEFA again after a fan threw pyro onto the pitch against Aston Villa.
It put the club in a difficult position as they waited for the outcome ahead of Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in their Champions League knockout playoff earlier this month.
What other issues have Celtic been sanctioned by UEFA for?
UEFA opted to fine Celtic again for the Aston Villa incident and decided against a stadium ban.
However it has been reported that the ban threat continues to loom over the Hoops should any similar incidents happen in future.
Celtic’s sanction is just one of a number of issues brought up by UEFA in their February report with as many as 20 clubs in the Champions League alone being punished for a plethora of issues.
In the Europa League there were also fines and/or warnings dished out to 23 clubs.
