As Celtic prepare to take on Hearts at Tynecastle, Lennoxtown footage shows three glaring positives that immediately stand out.

Celtic’s next fixture is the top-of-the-table clash with Hearts in what is widely being regarded as a must-win game for the Parkhead club.

Since Martin O’Neill’s return to Celtic, the Bhoys’ fortunes have turned around with a Scottish Cup win against Auchinleck Talbot and a huge Europa League draw against Bologna.

With the O’Neill effect clearly in place, Celtic take on Hearts in their bid to close the six-point gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

And as the Bhoys took in their final training session ahead of the Tynecastle clash, footage from Lennoxtown shows three things that immediately stand out about the Celtic players.

Celtic striker Kelechi Iheanacho is looking sharp ahead of Hearts

Kelechi Iheanacho’s Celtic injury appears to have fully healed as the Nigerian took part in the training session.

The Hoops striker suffered a recurrence of the hamstring injury he suffered after he arrived at the club in Celtic’s defeat to St Mirren in the Premier Sports Cup final.

Iheanacho looks fully mobile and ready to go and could play a part in the big game at Tynecastle.

Celtic hero Reo Hatate’s mood and Odin Thiago Holm’s recovery from illness

Reo Hatate is looking relaxed and happy despite his Celtic red card in the draw at Bologna.

The Japanese midfielder was needlessly sent off for two petulant fouls which appear to have cost Celtic another famous win in the Europa League.

However, despite all the negativity surrounding that, Hatate looks happy, calm and relaxed heading into the big Hearts game.

Another player looks like he is heading back to full fitness but is unlikely to feature today in any capacity.

Celtic midfielder Odin Thiago Holm’s recovery from a mystery illness appears to be all but complete as the Norwegian takes part in the training session.

It’s great to see the Hoops player return to full health and, who knows, maybe Holm could be a secret weapon O’Neill could use at some point in the season.

The whole team looks fit and ready to go ahead of the big game and it’s great to see that there doesn’t seem to be nervousness ahead of the visit to Hearts.

Celtic must win this game. There are no two ways about it. And looking at the players in training, it looks like there is a belief that they can go to Edinburgh and do just that.
