A weekend to remember for Celtic hero James Forrest.
Many knew this day was coming, as Forrest became Celtic’s most decorated player on Saturday when Brendan Rodgers’ side secured the Premiership title.

The 33-year-old, who has now won 26 major honours as a player, went past the great European-Cup winning star, Bobby Lennox.
Scotland’s most successful club did in style by putting five goals past third-place-chasing Dundee United at Tannadice, with the only downside being the injury to Jota.
One-club man Forrest has been blessed to play with many great players during his time on the Celtic Park pitch, and two of them gave him his flowers for what will go down as his greatest achievement.

Joe Ledley and Tony Watt hail James Forrest after he becomes Celtic’s most decorated player of all time
You can tell that Forrest is a popular player with his teammates just by how they interact and talk about the winger.
Joe Ledley, who spent four years in the colours of Celtic, winning four honours, wrote on his Instagram story that such an achievement ‘couldn’t have gone to a better person’.
Whilst Tony Watt, another player who was on Celtic’s books at the start of Forrest’s career, added on his Instagram story that it made him smile.
‘Couldn’t have gone to a better person,’ wrote Ledley. ‘Wee Jimmy’, added with a trophy emoji.
“This makes me smile,’ stated Watt, added with a hands up and smiling emojis.
A breakdown of Forrest’s career at Celtic in numbers
The best thing about all of this is that there is still plenty more to come, including a Scottish Cup final meeting with Aberdeen in May.
So Forrest could and should add to his already ridiculous numbers, not forgetting what the team can achieve next season.
The one thing every Celtic fan is crying out for and wants is for Forrest to score, so he can maintain the record of scoring in every campaign.
His long-term injury this season has made reaching that achievement harder, but he still has a few more league matches to get there.
