Celtic’s US Tour has thrown up some special memories already as the club embarks on their next chapter in the States.
So far Brendan Rodgers and his team have visited The White House and recorded impressive wins in their two fixtures in the DC United rout and a very good performance with clinical finishing against Manchester City.
Celtic have also been doing their charitable work in the States with $10,000 donations to Washington charity SOME and North Carlolina’s community charity PORCH.
With one more fixture to go against Chelsea, there are sure to be more memorable moments to be thrown up for the Celtic supporters this coming weekend.
Celtic catch up with ‘superfan’ Chris Bungard
Celtic have also created a brilliant memory for MMA’s Chris Bungard. From Bellshill, Glasgow, Bungard is a huge fan of the Parkhead club and continually shares pictures of himself in the green and white Hoops on Instagram.
And whilst Celtic were in Chapel Hill, the club decided to ‘catch up’ with Bungard for a photo shoot and decked the MMA fighter in the new pre-match jersey.
This isn’t the first time that Celtic have got involved in sports cross-over. We all remember the WWE drama involving CM Punk and Drew McIntyre back in June.

CM Punk caused controversy as he denied Rangers supporting McIntrye the opportunity to win the World Heavyweight Championship match in the Clash at the Castle event in the Hydro in Glasgow.
The WWE legend was also pictured with Celtic gear that week. Indeed, CM Punk is not the only WWE star to show his support for the Parkhead club.
Sami Zayn has also shown his Celtic colours of late as he promoted his comedy show in Toronto earlier this summer.
I have to admit, I’m enjoying this new trend of Celtic getting different sports involved to promote the club’s brand image and I have a feeling that this won’t be the last cross-over we see this year.
