Odin Thiago Holm is rumoured to be on his way out of Celtic again less than two weeks after returning to the club.
Holm spent a season on loan at LAFC and whilst he was at the MLS club, the Norwegian vowed that he had ‘unfinished business’ at Celtic.
Holm made just five appearances for LAFC as it looked like the midfielder was struggling out on loan from Celtic.
However, a rare illness had been plaguing the Celtic midfielder in the MLS, and now that he is back in Glasgow, Holm admits that he is ready to go for the months ahead.
Can Odin Thiago Holm fit into this current Celtic side? Let us know in the comments below.
But it seems that he could be heading out on loan again as journalist Mark Hendry reports that Holm is looking for another temporary move away.
But there are two reasons Celtic must not allow that to happen.

Why Odin Thiago Holm must be developed by Celtic
Holm arrived at Celtic with a big reputation and was named in The Guardian’s 2020 Next Generation of Best World Talents.
The Norwegian was listed alongside 60 of the best young players in the world which included the likes of Florian Wirtz, Xavi Simons, former Celtic defender Liam Morrison and Wilfried Gnonto.
With Celtic requiring a long-term replacement for Callum McGregor, now that Holm is over his illness issues, should the Norwegian be taken under the captain’s wing to tap into the clear potential he had to become one of the world’s best players?
At just 22 years old, Holm has age and the length of his contract on his side to be developed by Celtic into a first team starting midfielder.
If Celtic don’t believe in Holm, there is only one decision to be made
As the heading suggests, if Celtic don’t believe that Holm has the talent to develop at the club then he must be sold.
There is no point in holding on to a player if Celtic know that Holm will not be part of their long-term plan, if they even have one.
It’s been two years since the youngster signed his five-year deal at Celtic and he’s no closer to the starting XI now than he was then.
In fact, it could be argued that he is further from Celtic’s first-team plans because even when he first signed, Brendan Rodgers used him 16 times, including that famous 1-0 Glasgow Derby win over Rangers at Ibrox.
There is no point in Holm stagnating his career at Celtic and it also makes no financial sense in allowing a player to pick up a wage with no contribution at the club.
