Celtic are yet to really get going this season, but some players have still impressed more than others.
The Hoops beat Motherwell 3-2 in their final game before the international break to leave Celtic two points behind table toppers Hearts.
Many would argue that Brendan Rodgers‘ side are yet to reach their usual heights; however, for individuals, they can still say they have impressed.
So, with that, here are three players that 67 Hail Hail feel have made a strong start to the season.
Liam Scales
For years, Liam Scales has been the scapegoat in the Celtic side, but the centre-back has looked the part this season.
Scales has improved massively this past year and looks far more comfortable on the ball. He has now firmly cemented himself as the first choice partner for Cameron Carter-Vickers and is probably one of Rodgers’ most trusted players.
Charlie Mulgrew has also praised Scales and the Republic of Ireland international is one of those who can continue to go to the next level.
Colby Donovan
At one stage, it looked as if Colby Donovan wouldn’t be at Celtic until Donovan’s loan to Dundee broke down.
Injuries to Alistair Johnston and Anthony Ralston then allowed the youngster to be thrown into the starting XI, which he seized with both arms.

The 19-year-old has featured in the European games but was mysteriously excluded from the squad against Motherwell.
There is now a legitimate argument to say that the youngster is the second choice behind Johnston, and that is testament to how much he has improved.
Kelechi Iheanacho
Rounding off the three that can be happy with how their season has started is Kelechi Iheanacho.
One journalist says Iheanacho can have an Odsonne Edouard-like impact and the Nigerian has already got three goals to his name.
Iheanacho has defied the doubters and looks fitter and sharper than ever, all while contributing through goals and assists.
It will be interesting to see if he can keep this up for the long haul, but it is so far, so good.
