Wilfried Nancy’s sacking was expected, and that’s one problem out of the door for Celtic.
But there are still deep-lying issues inside Parkhead, from those in the boardroom to the players out on the pitch.
Make no bones about it, even during Martin O’Neill’s winning interim spell in charge, it wasn’t rosy in the garden, and several results were being ground out.
That’s because many Celtic players have underperformed for far too long, especially under Brendan Rodgers, and then Nancy’s ill-fated spell.
And 67 Hail Hail has looked at three Celtic players who need to follow Nancy out of the exit door sooner rather than later.
Name three players you would sell in the current Celtic side

Kasper Schmeichel
Celtic need a new number one because Kasper Schmeichel has become way too error-prone in between the sticks.
The fact that Celtic fans were booing Schmeichel against Rangers tells you everything you need to know because that was his worst horror show in a Celtic shirt, and he has had a fair few of them.
Don’t get it twisted, the Denmark international has served Celtic well, and he produced strong performances during the first half of his debut campaign, but it’s time to move on.
Daizen Maeda
It’s time for Celtic to grant Daizen Maeda his wish and let him leave. He will go down as a Celtic great, and his goal-crazy run last term will be remembered for a long time.
But sometimes you need to freshen up and move on. The Hoops should have done that with the Japan star in the summer.
Yes, Maeda showed glimpses that he was back to his best under O’Neill. But it’s not enough. Give him a great send-off, and start a new era up top.
At what price would you consider selling Daizen Maeda?
Anthony Ralston
Trying to be as kind as possible here, but Anthony Ralston simply isn’t good enough for Celtic.
The fact that Jahmai Simpson-Pusey’s loan spell from Manchester City was cancelled, and he hardly played, partly because of Ralston, is pretty pathetic.
Ralston will give his all. Wear his heart on his sleeve. But no time for sympathy here. Thank the man for his services, and move on.
Plus, Colby Donovan is waiting in the wings, producing a breakthrough campaign and ready to take the next step in his career.
