It’s barely December and Celtic are already being talked about in transfer news this week.

67 Hail Hail discussed yesterday how Celtic were showing interest in £9m Burnley star Josh Brownhill. The 28-year-old midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and could sign a pre-contract in January if Brendan Rodgers makes his move.

With Celtic finances so strong at this moment in time, Rodgers is likely to have significant funds available to him to use in the winter transfer window should the Hoops boss see fit to do so.

And it seems that some of those funds could be used to land a highly-rated emerging international talent whose name is on everyone’s lips these days.

Lennon Miller is the name that’s being discussed the most in Scottish football right now and according to a report in The Scottish Sun, that talk could soon be turned into action as the Motherwell kid attracts some serious attention this week,

The report says Celtic, Rangers, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa all watched Miller in action for Scotland U19 in the 0-0 draw with France on Tuesday.

Miller captained the young Scots to a credible draw at Falkirk. He continues to wear the captain’s armband after leading out Motherwell against Rangers in the League Cup semi-final last month.

Celtic could land Miller for £4m and at just 18 years of age, that seems like it could be a sound investment when you look at how the youngster is performing for club and country.

What Celtic is being told to do about singing Motherwell’s Lennon Miller

As mentioned before, Miller has been the name on everyone’s lips this season and Celtic have been urged to sign the youngster on various occasions over the last 12 months.

Charlier Mulgrew told Celtic to sign Miller ‘now’ after his impressive performance against the Hoops as Rodgers’ team beat Motherwell 3-1 back in February.

Jim Duffy said Celtic must sign Miller after the teenager impressed in the Scottish Premiership last season.

Hoops legend Peter Grant urged the Celtics to buy the young Motherwell man as he believes he is ‘more than capable’ of playing for Rodgers’ first team.

Hopefully, this is Celtic’s first move in attempting to land the highly-rated youngster as it is clear that Miller has a bright future ahead of him in the game.
