Jota is ready to take his place back on the wing for Celtic.

The Hoops legend returned to the club this week on a five-and-a-half year deal from Rennes following what can only be described as a tough period away from Glasgow.

Rennes fans were not too happy about Jota’s exit even if Celts were but their blow was softened by Kyogo moving to the Ligue 1 outfit in the other direction.

Jota hoped to play alongside Kyogo again but it will be another striker he lines up beside whenever Brendan Rodgers lands his target.

Mathias Kvistgaarden being one who has been scouted.

Louie Barry is now unlikely having had a medical with Hull City but, for now, Jota is simply delighted to be back at Celtic.

Jota says he’s back ‘home’ at Celtic

The 25-year-old revealed how big a role manager Rodgers had in bringing him back after the Irishman had also explained he’d spoke with the player ‘at length’ about making the comeback.

And now, to the delight of supporters, Jota has posted a sweary yet passionate Instagram picture with a caption to get punters buzzing about their superstar from Portugal.

He simply wrote: “I Am F***ing Home Babyyy”.

His post racked up thousands of likes and shares inside a few hours and now, 14 hours later, it sits at 126k likes from invested Hoops fans.

One commented: “Jota wins the internet today,” as another laughed: “You beautiful, beautiful man.”

When Jota could make his Celtic re-debut

Celtic fans might expect Jota to make his re-debut for his new team against Motherwell in the Fir Park clash on Sunday, February 2.

His first home match since coming back to Scotland will be an ever so slightly longer wait for the fanbase who will get to see their man in action on February 5.

That will be the rescheduled home clash vs Dundee following the call-off due to Storm Eowyn.
