We’re already more than halfway through the January transfer window and Celtic are yet to make big moves.
Brendan Rodgers wants attackers and it is likely the manager will want more than one wide player as well as a striker potentially arriving this month.
There will also be outgoings to join the likes of Stephen Welsh who left for KV Mechelen, Odin Holm who joined LAFC on loan and the expected Luis Palma sale to La Liga or MLS where the Honduran has clubs queueing up.
Greg Taylor’s future is also up in the air with Dinamo keen on the left-back as well as clubs in England considering a pre-contract move for the defender.

Kevin Thomson urges Celtic to sign Kieran Tierney
If the Scotland cap does decide to depart – with his contract expiring in six months – Celts could push for a January cash-in and that would leave a spot for the returning Kieran Tierney who is close to a comeback in Glasgow.
Celtic have now been told the “top of the tree” Arsenal star would be an ideal signing by former Rangers midfielder Kevin Thomson who has been full of praise for the 27-year-old.
He has urged Rodgers to ignore Tierney’s alleged injury issues and bring him back to Parkhead as he would clearly bring plenty of experience to the club and his teammates.
And with a potential pre-contract and loan option on the table for Tierney, Thomson told the BBC’s Scottish Football Podcast that it would essentially be a no-brainer for the Hoops.
What Thomson said about Tierney’s injury issues
“I think first and foremost, Phil (Goodlad), you have to say what a wonderful football player, a real top, top player, top of the tree really.
“So if Celtic can get a deal over the line, there’s no doubt his alliance towards the club and a boyhood fan and he’s probably in time there, obviously, before he’s been, you know, down south.
“So I don’t think he can get away for the fact that he’s had a few niggles and a few issues injury wise, whether that’s been for the national team or whether it’s obviously been for his club football.
“But there’s no doubt that he’s a wonderful football player and he would certainly bring something big to the club. There’s no doubt.
“So I think the fans have already voiced their opinion, how excited they are to get him over the line.”
