The very latest Celtic transfers news and rumours on January 16 including updates on Mathias Kvistgaarden, Kieran Tierney, Raul Moro, Kyogo and Luis Palma.
Kvistgaarden opens Celtic door
Celtic have been interested in Mathias Kvistgaarden since 2023 and are being touted as a potential option for the striker again.
We at 67 Hail Hail exclusively told you Celts had scouted Kvistgaarden once again as recently as November with Brendan Rodgers liking three strikers in his squad.
Johnny Kenny has been involved recently but Kvistgaarden is a more experienced hitman.
And now Kvistgaarden has told Brondby he wants to leave, opening the door to the Hoops should they wish to make a move.

He said: “100%, and as soon as possible. Now it’s starting to be time.
“I’ve said for many years that I’m happy to be in Brondby and that I don’t mind being in Brondby, but now I’m starting to find myself in a situation where I want to go out and try something different.
“My plan is for it to be this summer.”
Tierney drops Arsenal exit clue?
Kieran Tierney is close to a Celtic return with the Hoops hoping to land him on a pre-contract.
That could turn into a loan move this month and fans have been speculating following KT‘s most recent social media post.
He shared pics of him in a Gunners shirt during a recent fixture simply accompanied by a salute emoji.
Raul Moro Celtic transfer interest
Rodgers wants firepower this window at Celtic and the manager may even want two wingers in the door.
One who has been linked by the Daily Mail is Real Valladolid attacker Raul Moro.
The £8.5million-rated Spaniard is highly thought of and Celts have expressed interest in Moro which La Liga club Valladolid are aware of.
No official bid has been made thus far but he is certainly one on the radar.
New Kyogo interest emerges
Atlanta have been credited with interest in Kyogo this window with a £10m fee how much they feel they would pay for the 29-year-old Japanese striker.
The Hoops don’t want to sell and Rodgers has made his stance on Kyogo clear.
Now, though – according to Ouest France – Rennes in Ligue 1 have approached Celtic in an effort to sign the goal scorer.
Palma Celtic future in balance
Luis Palma has interest in the MLS as we have told you while Spanish outfit Rayo Vallecano no longer have any transfer ban imposed.
That could re-open the pathway for the Honduran to depart but Rodgers recently said he remains a Celtic player.
He also came off the bench in the 3-3 draw with Dundee.
