Hayato Inamura closing in on Celtic move

It looks as if signing number four is close to coming through the door as Hayato Inamura looks set to move to Celtic.

Inamura is due to fly to Glasgow next week to complete his move from Albirex Niigata in an epic move considering that he only turned professional six months ago.

Unfortunately it looked like an unhappy ending for the defender as Inamura and Niigata lost 4-0 in his final game for the club.

Rodgers will be delighted to get him in though as he finally has a left-footed centre-back in his ranks.

Como join race for Nicolas Kuhn

Nicolas Kuhn is a man in demand and it seems like he could be off this summer.

Kuhn was back for pre-season training but is of interest to RB Leipzig and Newcastle United.

Now though, it seems that Como have joined the race for Kuhn, with the German set to command a high fee.

Hugh Keevins believes Celtic should cash in on Kuhn, but if he were to leave for £17m, he would be one of Celtic’s highest-ever sales.

Matthew Anderson joins Belgian second-tier side

Keeping youth players happy has proved to be difficult in the past few years for Celtic.

Karamoko Dembele, Ben Doak and Rocco Vata are all players who have fled the nest in search of better opportunities elsewhere and another has followed suit.

Young left back Matthew Anderson has departed Parkhead for Belgian second-tier side K.V. Kortrijk in order to get more first-team football.

It’s another one gone, but with plenty of talent in the squad, it’s not a surprise to hear.
