Go Ahead Eagles chief mocks Celtic over Jakob Breum bid

Jakob Breum has been on Celtic’s radar for some time but they aren’t doing themselves any favours.

Breum is open to staying at Go Ahead Eagles after the Dutch side rejected multiple offers from Celtic.

Go Ahead Eagles want £5m for Breum and the Hoops have sent offers way below par.

The whole saga seems to be turning into a joke for the Eredivisie club, with Go Ahead Eagles mocking Celtic over their failed Breum bids and told them to look to Rangers as to how to negotiate transfers.

Celtic warned by Cagliari fans about Adam Obert

Despite adding Jahmai Simpson-Pusey to their central defensive options, the Hoops have still been looking at new centre-backs.

Celtic had a bid for Adam Obert rejected by Cagliari after failing to meet their £6m valuation.

It seems unlikely that the Parkhead giants will go back in for the Slovakian international and it’s probably for the best, with several Cagliari fans slamming Obert’s ability and hinting that they would be glad to see the back of him.

Giorgos Giakoumakis appears to be on the move again after a brief spell in Mexico with Cruz Azul.

The Greek striker has been banging goals in for fun for the majority of his career but is now closing in on a return to his homeland.

Giakoumakis is set to reunite with Greg Taylor at PAOK after agreeing a deal in principle to head to Thessaloniki.

Taylor is yet to make his debut at PAOK but having a familiar face in Giakoumakis at the club will be a great way to help bed him in.
