Celtic may land Michel-Ange Balikwisha late in the transfer window

Michel Ange-Balikwisha to Celtic is a tale as old as time.

Celtic’s interest in Balikwisha is well-known and after a few weeks of nothing to report, rumours have begun to heat up.

Balikwisha has actually been playing in a new position to benefit Royal Antwerp, who are still keen to sell.

Time is of the essence in the transfer window and David Friel revealed that Balikwisha is ‘very keen’ to join the Hoops, but it could be as late as transfer deadline day before the deal is complete.

La Liga club take the lead in Louis Munteanu transfer saga with huge bid

Louis Munteanu is likely to leave Cluj this summer over a pay dispute, which has seen his game time reduced.

Cluj dropped Munteanu to the bench at the weekend and despite demanding €18m, have been told they may need to accept a cut-price fee.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have clearly looked into the possibility of signing the 23-year-old, but now Valencia are reportedly leading the chase.

Fanatik have said that Valencia have offered a loan deal worth €2m before buying him permanently next summer for €10m next summer.

It’s a monumental offer and one that the Hoops are unlikely to match.

Marco Tilio to join Rapid Vienna

After a brief delay which saw Marco Tilio’s move to Rapid Vienna stalled, we now seem to be back on track.

Rapid were initially asking for a loan move with an option to buy in the summer, however, the structure of Tilio’s deal has changed and he will now move to Austria permanently.

Celtic wanted to hold off from sanctioning the deal until they were sure that they could get a replacement in.

Now that the Australia international is off, could that mean someone is coming in?
